Job description

We are currently engaged in a collaborative partnership with a distinguished non-profit charity in Devon. In pursuit of excellence, we are actively seeking a permanent position as Deputy Service Manager. This will be a full-time position based in Stonehouse.

Salary of £30,000 per annum, with access to award winning training and development within the sector.

Ideal candidate will have extensive experience of supporting adults, support/ manage staff teams and manage the performance of the team.

Duties will include:

  • Overseeing up to 11 support staff management across the service, consistently achieving and surpassing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics

  • Collaborating closely with clients with complex needs such as Mental Health, Substance Misuse and Homelessness providing dedicated support. Fostering close partnerships with both internal and external housing landlords to promptly address any arising issues

  • Ensuring to cater unique needs of service users, leading and inspiring a team to deliver care and support that promotes wellbeing

  • Conducting comprehensive supervisions and performance appraisals, facilitating training opportunities as needed

  • Dedicated to delivering unwavering, high-quality care and support tailored to meet the personalised needs of individuals, safeguarding their dignity and fostering independence

  • Acting as a role model, a coach and mentor auditing and assessing the quality-of-service delivery whilst they are present

  • To be able to role model all aspects of a support worker role duties and responsibilities as set out in the Support Workers job description

Working hours:
