Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a reputable Social Housing provider in the Midlands, who put customer wellbeing at the forefront of their work.
They're looking to recruit a Customer Liaison Officer on a four month temporary contract.
The role is full time hours Monday - Friday, 37 hours per week, with a hybrid working model (two to three days per week at home). The rate is £21.00 per hour on an umbrella basis.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Social Housing and have worked previously in either an Assistant Site Manager or Resident Liaison Officer role.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Working on a range of ongoing projects, including drainage blockages and repairs, noise transference issues, damp and mould cases and any further works as required
Acting as the bridge between tenants and inhouse operatives, contractors, project leaders and coordinators
Communicating effectively with tenants to deal with any sticking points or snagging issues that may arise as a result of works or throughout the course of projectsLiaising within tenants' properties to ensure the smooth delivery of works
Completing estate inspections and work closely with the repairs and assets teams to deal with any arising issues
Ensuring works are conducted to a high standard by operatives within given timeframes and appointments are attended to
Providing reports on the ongoing status of works and projects to tenants and senior staff
Organising and attending meetings with current and prospective tenants to discuss new and ongoing projects
Experience required:
Proven experience managing property maintenance projects, including drainage, damp and mould, and noise-related issues
Strong communication skills to liaise between tenants, operatives, contractors, and project coordinators
Ability to conduct estate inspections and ensure smooth delivery of works within tenants' properties
Track record of monitoring project progress, providing clear reports to tenants and senior staff, and resolving snagging issues
Experience ensuring works are completed to high standards, within timeframes, and in line with compliance requirements
Working hours:
37 hours per week
Monday - Friday
Two to three days per week working from home
