Job description

We are currently working in partnership with a Heritage organisation based in the Central London, who are recruiting for a Corporate Governance Manager on a 12-month fixed term contract, to be followed by a permanent contract. The position is due to start this month, and offering a salary of c. £39,000.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a managerial position, and a good understanding of corporate governance requirements.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing the scheduling and logistical arrangements for corporate management committee meetings

  • Liaising with the chairs and the Head of Governance, design and prepare the agenda for such meetings

  • Commissioning any papers and presentations for such meetings, advising relevant staff as necessary on the most appropriate format, structure and style to use in producing them

  • Managing the collation, review and distribution of the agenda and papers, whether by electronic means or in hard copy

  • Taking and circulating minutes of meetings, ensuring that decisions and actions are properly recorded and communicated to the appropriate people

  • Maintaining accurate records and ensure the implementation of decisions arising from meetings, reporting back any matters arising as necessary

Experience Required:

  • Administrative experience with a practical track record or organising and co-ordinating high profile committee meetings

  • Some knowledge of Information Governance is desirable, but not essential

Working Hours:

  • Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
