Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association who provides quality, affordable homes to thousands of people across the South of England.
They are recruiting for a Conveyancing Law Manager on a permanent contract to join their team. This will be a full-time position, with occasional travel required across the region and a salary of £52,300 per annum.
The ideal candidate will have a law degree, CILEX Level 6 or demonstrable experience in conveyancing in property, asset management or the Social Housing sector.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Leading a remote team to effectively process conveyancing transactions to buy, lease or dispose of land and property assets
Acting as the main point of contact for external legal representatives for advice relating to property matters, including title investigation, planning, landlord and tenant issues and litigation
Supporting the Strategic Asset Management directorate in delivering its targets, by leading the Conveyancing team in the disposal and acquisition of land and property assets identified through Land Enhancement, Options Appraisal and Void Disposal programmes
Reviewing and shaping the internal conveyancing processes and procedures to ensure continued compliance and adherence to current practice and to maximise efficiency
Experience required:
Leading a remote team to effectively process conveyancing transactions to buy, lease or dispose of land and property assets
