Childcare Lawyer
Job description
Our client based in the West Midlands, is currently recruiting for a Childcare Lawyer, on a locum basis for 3-months initially.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis, offering an hourly rate of circa. £50p/hour UMB.
The ideal candidate will have significant post-qualification experience working within a local authority and be able and willing to attend advocacy hearings in person when required.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Picking up a mixed caseload of matters
Handling your own advocacy at both attended and virtual hearings, at Family and Magistrates Court
Ensuring that deadlines are chased and met in accordance with court directions set
Experience required:
Qualified Solicitor
Attending both in person and virtual advocacy hearings
Working hours:
37 hours per week
Monday – Friday
