​Our client based in the West Midlands, is currently recruiting for a Childcare Lawyer, on a locum basis for 3-months initially.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis, offering an hourly rate of circa. £50p/hour UMB.

The ideal candidate will have significant post-qualification experience working within a local authority and be able and willing to attend advocacy hearings in person when required.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Picking up a mixed caseload of matters

• Handling your own advocacy at both attended and virtual hearings, at Family and Magistrates Court

• Ensuring that deadlines are chased and met in accordance with court directions set

Experience required:

• Qualified Solicitor

• Attending both in person and virtual advocacy hearings

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week

• Monday – Friday
