We are currently partnering with a leading Housing Association based in the North West, who are recruiting for a Building Safety Manager to join their growing team on a 9-month Fixed Term Contract.

Our client has over 8,000 homes where they help their customers live, grow and thrive.

This is a full-time position with a salary of £49,500 and this role is due to start as soon as possible.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Ensuring the compliance of the HA’s assets in relation to current legislation

• Taking responsibility for a team of qualified contractors, ensuring their legislative requirements are met

• Taking the lead on Electrical Safety, Gas, Legionella, Asbestos, M&E and Fire Safety

• Developing a range of compliance projects, managing budgets, timeframes and personnel

• Ensuring all internal compliance databases are kept up to date and all information is accurate

• Developing internal strategies and policies to future proof the HA’s compliance

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Social Housing experience ideal

• Full UK driving licence.

• Knowledge of the new building safety regime

• Experience of working in a supervisory role

• Line management experience
