Our client, based in Bristol, is currently recruiting for an Assistant Financial Accountant on a 3 month initial temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is equivalent to £32,000 - £35,000, dependent upon experience.

The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or part CIMA/ACCA qualified and have similar experience in a previous role.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Producing year end supporting information for auditors and ensuring financial controls are followed

• Completing bank and other Balance Sheet reconciliations

• Managing the Fixed Asset Register including additions, disposals, depreciation and forecasts

• Processing month end adjustments and producing VAT returns

• Completing short and long term cash flow forecasting

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• AAT qualification or part CIMA/ACCA qualification
