Where are you from originally?
What first attracted you to James Andrews?
Their transparency as employers, they were really open about what the positives and the negatives were of working for them. So I felt prepared and aware of the job role and what was expected of me when I accepted their offer
What drew you towards a career in recruitment?
I like working in a busy environment where there’s lots to do and different candidates and clients to meet and talk to each day
Why did you decide to seek a graduate role in Leicester?
Having studied in Leicester I have grown to love the city. It’s culturally vibrant and there’s so much to get involved in. Leicester has a great social scene with lots of different activities to get involved in
Favourite thing about working here so far?
The team are really sociable and friendly. They regularly go out for drinks after work and hold events to celebrate month end. I’m really looking forward to attending my first one at the end of May!
What has surprised you most about being a Recruitment Consultant?
The majority of the office is actually female, I thought that this was quite unusual for an recruitment environment. The team is also fairly young (early 20s – 30) so we all have quite a bit in common
What have you enjoyed most so far about your day-to-day work or training?
Here at James Andrews, you get to do the whole process of recruitment unlike most agencies I applied with where they only let you do a certain part of the process. Being able to complete the whole process means that my day is more varied and there is always something different to do. It also makes me day fly by!
