Where are you from originally?

What drew you towards a career in recruitment?

I was initially attracted to the fast pace environment and the social side of recruitment. I’m a sociable person and believed that I would really enjoy a job where I could speak to many different people on a daily basis.

What first attracted you to James Andrews?

On my first visit to the office I could see straight away how friendly and welcoming the team were. I was also attracted to how much JARS relied on team work. For example, the jobs meetings throughout the day were what caught my attention.

Why did you decide to seek a graduate role in Birmingham?

I chose to work in Birmingham purely based on the fact that I live in the area. While being in Leeds for University I missed Birmingham a lot and was looking for a job in the city centre.

Favourite thing about working here so far?

How helpful and friendly everyone is. I already feel like part of the team.

What has surprised you most about being a Recruitment Consultant?

How fast I have picked up the jargon and key words that the team throw around on a daily basis.

What have you enjoyed most so far about your day-to-day work or training?

I enjoy putting my training into practice, I like being able to help the team as soon as I have learnt what to.
