Job description

We are delighted to be representing a leading surveying consultancy firm, based in Sidcup, who are looking to appoint a new Team Administrator on a permanent basis.

This will be a full-time position, with hybrid working (2 days home working), and a salary of up to £25,000pa.

The client is looking for someone with experience in a similar administrative or secretarial role with a reasonable understanding of the construction industry. The ideal candidate will also hold a full UK driving license.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Preparing and producing team minutes, specifications, reports, fee-bids, letters, contract administration documentation and spreadsheets
  • Assisting Commercial Controller to carry out client pledges and ensuring clients have received monthly invoices
  • Managing outlook diaries and scheduled team meetings, ensuring monthly appraisals are booked and re-scheduled when necessary
  • Setting up project folders correctly and referring to master reports and fee-bid trackers when necessary
  • Performing other general office duties, including: reception and switchboard cover on a rota basis, handling annual leave calendars, ensuring sick forms are issued to HR department etc.

Experience required:

  • Three years’ previous experience in a similar admin or secretarial role

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Reasonable knowledge and understanding of the construction industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced PC skills and accurate typist

Working hours:

  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday
  • 9am-5pm
