Job description

​We are currently partnering with a leading Housing Association in North Wales, who are recruiting for a Domestic Violence Support Worker to join their growing team on a temporary basis for 3 to 4 Months.

This is a full-time position with a competitive hourly rate and the start date is almost immediate with interview happening this week with a view to a Monday 15th start date.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing a caseload of approximately 20-25 tenants who have experienced or are experiencing domestic abuse

  • Maintaining up to date support plans and risk assessments, ensuring all compliance is adhered to and updated accurately

  • Appropriately managing safeguarding concerns at all time

  • Supporting customers to maintain their current accommodation and to pay their rent, service charges in line with occupancy agreements

  • Ensuring customers have access to the correct benefits and grants, providing housing benefit advice and explaining entitlements

  • Turning round void properties within an acceptable timeframe

  • Experience required:

  • Experience required in Supported Housing

  • Experience working with tenants who have experienced or are experiencing domestic abuse

  • Rewards and Benefits:

  • You will have to be available to go out on patch every day but you are able to base yourself from home and do your admin from there

  • Working hours:

  • 35 hours per week

  • Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
