Job description

​Our client, a prominent housing association based in Manchester, is at the forefront of leveraging technology to enhance operational efficiency and tenant satisfaction. They are committed to integrating innovative solutions within their Dynamics 365 (D365) environment to streamline processes and improve service delivery.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solutions Architect to lead the integration of external APIs from third-party software applications into their existing D365 system. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing their system architecture, which is currently based on .NET MVC, D365, Azure, and SharePoint. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that directly impact communities around the country

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement integration solutions between D365 and various third-party software applications.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand integration requirements and propose effective solutions.

  • Develop and maintain a secure, scalable, and robust architecture to support integration needs.

  • Ensure that all integrations are compliant with industry standards and best practices.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team throughout the integration process.

  • Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure seamless functionality and performance.

  • Document integration processes and maintain a repository of integration artifacts.

  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the D365 ecosystem and recommend improvements to our integration strategy.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Solutions Architect within a Dynamics 365 environment.

  • Strong background in designing and implementing API integrations with D365.

  • Proficiency in .NET MVC, Azure, and SharePoint architecture.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong understanding of architectural principles.

  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

  • A keen interest in the housing association sector, with a preference for candidates who have relevant industry experience.

Desirable:

  • Candidates with experience in the housing association sector will be given preference.

  • Familiarity with the specific challenges and opportunities within the housing association domain.
