Our client, based in Watford, is currently recruiting for a Service Manager on a three month temporary contract. Our client is a homeless charity who help individuals who are homeless or vulnerably and help them through the provision of accommodation and opportunities to transform lives.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients with complex needs and managing and leading teams of staff.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing 25 unit service

• Managing 10 Support Workers and additional volunteers

• Dealing with complex needs clients -mental health, substance misuse, homelessness and domestic violence

• Assessing referrals from the day centre manager and other organisations for available beds

• Dealing with staff one to ones, the rota, team meetings and training

Experience required:

• Working with clients with complex needs

• Managing teams of staff
