We are currently working with a client who specialises in offering external façade packages for refurbishment and replacement projects. They are looking for a permanent Senior Quantity Surveyor to be based around Hackney and Tower Hamlets.

The role is a full-time site-based position, and is due to start as soon as possible. The salary offered is ranging between £60,000 - £80,000pa dependent on previous experience for the role.

Our client is looking for candidates with experience performing quantity surveyor duties in the commercial and social housing industries, and hold a full UK driving license.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Acting as the Commercial lead for the Hackney/Tower Hamlets patch on multiple projects simultaneously, running the refurbishment division

• Managing projects valuing over £5 million, monitoring all stages of strategy and implementation

• Reporting into the Commercial Manager, producing weekly/monthly progress reports and spearheading meetings when necessary

• Producing appropriate tender documentation to secure robust responses, including design information and responding to any queries

• Liaising with all project team members to ensure all aspects are being met and budget is being maintained in all areas

Experience required:

• Previously overseen multiple multi-million projects at once

• Both pre- and post- contract experience

• Refurbishment projects

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Handling and producing tender documentation

• Budgetary strategies

• Management skills
