Our client, based in East London, is currently recruiting for a Scheme Manager on a temporary contract for two months (on going). Our client is an established Housing Association who is a proud member of ‘Futures for London’ and are committed to their diversity plans, including being an accredited Leadership 2025 Champions.

The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience working with vulnerable elderly persons over 55+ in the sector, however this requirement can be flexible.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

·         Provide support across two schemes of elderly (55+) residents, circa 30 residents in each scheme, carrying out risk assessments

·         Housing and tenancy management including: viewings, sign ups, voids,

·         Conduct Health & Safety checks at the two schemes, raising any issues/repairs

·         Managing low level ASB (noise complaints, disputes, etc)

·         Provide advice on welfare and benefits available and assist residents with applications

Experience required:

·         Working with vulnerable residents aged over 55+

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

·         Risk assessment and management

·         Trip hazards

·         Safeguarding procedures

Working hours:

·         35 hours per week

·         Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
