Job description
We are proud to be partnering with a prestigious education provider in Nottinghamshire, to assist their search for a new Reward Manager on a permanent basis. You will be working in a friendly and inclusive environment for an organisation that has its employees at the forefront of their mind.
The role is a full-time position, with hybrid working (3 days as a minimum WFH) and a salary ranging from £43,000 - £61,000 per annum.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Contributing to the development of the Pay and Reward Strategy, working alongside the Associate Director of Pay and Reward
Acting as a subject matter expert to ensure the strategy is fit for purpose development and delivery
Managing and developing the Pay and Reward Team, setting objectives and development plans to ensure high performance delivery across pay and reward operational and project/policy
Delivering reward and recognition expertise, influencing university leaders, managers and partners; offering practical solutions; evaluating current practice and behaviours to effect change
Acting as the HR lead on relevant pension or pay-related project or consultation work
Contributing to relevant policy and procedural development in the area of pay and reward
Supporting the implementation of the local annual pay review process
Managing data analysis and preparation for negotiation meetings, as well as providing management support during the negotiation process
Leading on the management and development of the staff voluntary benefits portfolio
Identifying and implementing proposals to maximise the impact of current provisions, whilst also identifying gaps and opportunities to improve the offer to deliver maximum return on investment
Expertise required:
Excellent project management skills
Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking and effective decision making
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with staff at all levels
Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
