Our client, based in Islington, is currently recruiting for a Recovery Worker on a 2-month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with ex-offender and those struggling with substance misuse issues, and be Vetted by HMPS within the last 5 years.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Conducting initial assessments within prisons to clear an existing backlog

Experience required:

• HMPS Prison Vetting

• Experience required working with ex-offenders

• Experience working with people with substance misuse issues

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Risk assessment and management

• Financial management and budgeting

• Compliance and due diligence

Working hours:

• 37.5 hours per week

• Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
