Job description
Our client, based in the West Midlands, is currently recruiting for a Property Compliance Officer on a permanent basis.
This role is due to start immediately with a salary of £26,208 - £30,000.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working on preventative planned maintenance.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Overseeing and maintaining the CAFM system, ensuring all statutory certifications, PPM records, and remedial works are up to date and compliant with SLAs and tenders
Managing and monitoring the performance of PPM and response contractors, including chairing review meetings, taking minutes, and ensuring contractor compliance
Handling invoicing processes through the CAFM system and Accounts Payable, resolving any related queries accurately and promptly
Preparing and delivering regular reports, including monthly regulatory updates, and provide technical support to internal teams
Liaising professionally with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders, responding swiftly to all business requests
Supporting the Head of Facilities with ad hoc projects and administrative tasks as required
Experience required:
Minimum of 2 years‘ experience within the care sector
Minimum of 2 years of facilities management experience
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Recognised Facilities qualification/H&S (IOSH or NEBOSH)
An understanding of statutory environmental requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of the management of Asbestos, fire safety and Legionella or other compliance elements
Good working knowledge and the ability to work with Microsoft Excel and CAFM systems
Excellent organisational skills
