Job description
Our client, based in Gloucester, are currently recruiting for a Planned Works Manager on a permanent basis.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis and the salary for the role is £52,755.
The ideal candidate will have Knowledge of Building Surveying and Asset Management, Contract Management, Disrepair and HHSRS all within Social Housing.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Overseeing the successful delivery of allocated planned investment projects, from procurement of contractors through to project completion
Providing technical advice, support and expertise to a team
Managing one-off specialist contracts, including large-scale adaptation works, legal disrepair, retrofit and decarbonisation works
Supporting the asset management on all contract and commercial issues and disputes
Allocating budgets and completing budget profiling, ensuring expenditure is monitored
Overseeing CDM Compliance for the team
Line managing a team, including 1:1s and development appraisals
Handling tenant complaints relating to planned works programmes as necessary
Experience required:
Experience required in Social Housing
Experience overseeing the delivery of all retrofit and decarbonisation works
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Risk assessment and budgets
Management of staff
