Job description

We are currently working with a leading charity who are looking for a HR Project Lead on 6-month FTC based in North London.

The position is due to start at the end of April on a full-time basis. The salary for this position is £52,212 per annum.

 

You will need to have strong generalist knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR practice, particularly in relation to restructuring/reorganisation.

 

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing and implementing the restructure of the organisations programmes

  • Ensuring that employment terms and structures are aligned across the organisation

  • Meeting all information and consultation requirements, both individually and with the recognised union

  • Identifying and planning key actions and activities in line with change management timeline

  • Advising and supporting affected staff during the consultation process. Providing supportive information and advice consistent with best practice and compliance with policy and UK legislation

  • Carrying out job evaluations and reviewing pay and grading systems to ensure parity and equity as required

 

Experience required:

  • Broad, generalist HR experience at an appropriate level (HR Manager, Senior HR Adviser, Senior HR Business Partner) in a fast-paced and flexible organisation

  • Experience of leading on change management projects and supporting staff through change

  • Experience of working in an international and/or matrix organisation

 

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Good generalist knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice, particularly in relation to restructuring

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of job evaluation practices

  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to reason through alternative options and make appropriate recommendations and/or decisions
