Job description
We are working with a national public transport provider, based in Birmingham, who are looking for a HR Business Partner to join their team on a permanent basis.
They can offer a salary of £50,000 - £55,000, hybrid working (2 days home working), and free travel when using their services.
They are looking for someone with strong trade union experience, and experience of supporting senior stakeholders in a generalist HR capacity.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
Developing People Plans, focused on culture and transformational change, ensuring they are in line with organisational goals and objectives
Consulting with key stakeholders regarding all HR issues and queries, acting as their main point of contact in HR
Managing key strategic initiatives, including succession planning, talent mapping and employee engagement
Supporting line managers with complex employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence and capability
Liaising with trade unions, managing relationships and promoting positive relations
Supporting line managers with the performance improvement and development of capability within their teams
Experience required:
Strong experience dealing with trade unions
Previous experience working as a HR Business Partner
Demonstrable experience dealing with organisational change and restructure activity
Complex employee relations case management experience
Rewards and Benefits:

Working hours:
35 hours per week
Monday – Friday, 8.00am – 6.00pm core hours – willing to be flexible
