We are currently working in partnership with a charity based in South Birmingham, who are recruiting for a HR Advisor on a permanent basis.

The position is due to start immediately, and offers 3 days home working and a salary of up to £32,992.

The ideal candidate will be CIPD Level 5 qualified, and have strong experience managing employee relations casework.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Delivering successful end to end management of complex employee relations casework including investigations, sickness, disciplinary, grievance, probation, performance, appeals and making referrals to Occupational Health when needed
• Assisting the HR People Partners with the co-ordination of change management and reward projects
• Sharing best practice and changes in employment case law with the HR Advice Team and Managers
• Complying with Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy in all activities and ensuring it’s fully implemented in the teams they support
• Accurately maintaining and updating casework records and electronic employee records, ensuring they are up to date and comply with GDPR
• Co-ordinating and delivering training to employees when required in order to fill gaps in knowledge

Experience required:

• CIPD Level 5 qualified
• Strong experience managing employee relations casework
• Strong employment law knowledge
