Job description

​We are currently working with a large not-for-profit organisation, based in Solihull, who are recruiting for a HR Advisor on a fixed-term contract until June 2024.

They are looking for someone with experience providing a generalist advisory service to employees and managers, who has managed complex employee relations cases.

They can offer a salary of £27,000 - £39,000, 25 days holiday (+bank holidays) and a hybrid/flexible working approach (2/3 days working from home p/week).

Duties will include (but not limited to):

• Providing advice and guidance to managers across all HR services, including employee relations, recruitment, wellbeing, policies and procedures

• Managing employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, performance and capability

• Supporting the recruitment and selection process

• Reviewing, maintaining and updating HR policies and procedures

• Arranging and carrying out HR inductions and probation meetings

• Monitoring trends using key people KPIs and metrics, such as absence and sickness levels

• Assisting HR Business Partners with change management programmes

Experience required:

• CIPD L5 qualified

• Demonstrable knowledge of employment law

• Experience managing employee relations cases

• Driving licence essential

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week
