Job description

Our client, based in North London, is currently recruiting for an HR Advisor on a temporary to permanent basis. Our client is a Housing Association with 1,500 properties.

The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position whilst temporary and £35,000 per annum when permanent.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience in an Advisory position.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing comprehensive advice to staff and managers on HR related policies and procedures
  • Supporting the Human Resources Business Partner to administer operational HR processes e.g., recruitment, inductions, employee relations, project work as directed
  • Administering and organising pre-employment checks, medicals, references, and proof of eligibility to work in the UK
  • Advising on disciplinary, grievance, performance management issues and be involved in investigations and hearings as required
  • Responsibility for reviewing current HR processes and proposing process improvements and solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness of HR services
  • Supporting staff with development and training
