​Our client, based in South West London, is currently recruiting for a Housing Officer on a 3-month temporary contract. They are a Housing Association that invests in their staff in order to develop their skill sets.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is either £20.89 PAYE or £24.51 via an umbrella company.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within social housing and good knowledge on Housing Law.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Carrying out estate visits and inspections

• Escalating ASB cases appropriately using the relevant procedures and attending court hearings and evictions

• Identifying and recording details of vulnerable residents, signposting residents to support when required

• Responding to correspondences and complaints

• Ensuring all legal paperwork is completed in order to apply for possession and/or injunction proceedings

Experience required:

• Managing clients with complex needs

• Accurate knowledge on Housing Law

Working hours:

• 35 hours per week

• Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
