Job description

Our client, based in West London, is currently recruiting for a Housing Officer on a temporary contract for three months. They are proud to provide housing to vulnerable women across West London, originally set up by suffragettes and are currently funded by the National Lottery!

The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is comfortable providing tenancy management services to vulnerable women in a housing setting.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

·         Managing 300 properties across Hammersmith, Notting Hill and Earl’s Court

·         Conducting estate inspections and reporting any repairs needed

·         Collecting rent arrears across the patch

·         Providing advice on Universal Credit and other applicable welfare and benefits for tenants

 

Experience required:

·         Basic DBS taken out in the last three years

·         Comfortable providing tenancy management services to vulnerable women in a housing setting

 

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

·         Managing a caseload of low level ASB (fly tipping, noise complaints and neighbourhood disputes)

 

Rewards and Benefits:

·         Work from home up to three days per week

·         Possibility of going permanent (salary is £35,000)

 

Working hours:

·         35 hours per week

·         Monday - Friday, 9.30am-5.30pm
