​Our client, based in Hampshire, is currently recruiting for a Housing Officer on a 3-month temporary contract. Our client is a Local Authority that holds a gold standard award for local homelessness.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.

The ideal candidate will have experience carrying out estate inspections and will housing experience.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Carry out regular estate inspections, dealt with tenancy enquiries and acted as a first point of contact across patch of properties

• Deal with sign-ups, successions, mutual exchanges, transfers and termination of tenancies

• Provided a customer focused service, attempting to resolve all tenancy issues or complaints at the first point of contact

• Manage low to high level ASB, attending court when necessary for range of issues such as drug dealing or hoarding

• Uphold high standards of customer service when managing any tenant complaints or queries

Essential Criteria:

• Access to own vehicle and drive

• Hold a basic DBS taken out in the last three years
