Job description
We are currently partnering with an award-winning consultancy based in Kent, who are recruiting for a Fire Project Manager to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
Our client is proud to be a forward thinking, innovative multidisciplinary construction consultancy who provide a seamless and collaborative service to our clients and project stakeholders
This is a full-time position with a salary band of circa £55,000 (subject to experience) and the start date is subject to notice.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Overseeing work on fire safety schemes, including workstreams to remedy Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) actions, and facade remediation projects
- Liaising effectively with other professionals, clients, stakeholders and others to obtain and provide information relating to the project
- Managing relationships and expectations with all stakeholders, including the client, internal teams, and external parties
- Developing and implementing strategies to mitigate risks and resolve problems
- Ensuring the quality of work meets agreed-upon standards and specifications
Experience required:
- Professional certification or working towards from bodies like the Association for Project Management (APM), Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB)
- Experience in managing construction projects
- Experience in working with various client types, from commercial to residential
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Understanding of building codes, planning laws, and health and safety regulations including CDM Regulations, The Building Safety Act, RIBA plan of works
- Proficiency in budget management, cost control, and financial reporting
- Knowledge of various construction contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC) and their implications for project delivery, risk, and payment

- 37.5 hours per week
