We are currently working in partnership with a further educational institution, who are looking to a appoint an Electrician on a 3-month temporary contract.

This will be a full-time position based in South Yorkshire, with a rate of £25-£27 per hour via an Umbrella company.

The ideal candidate will have experience of carrying out electrical works and hold an 18th edition as well as a full UK Driving License.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Conducting planned and reactive electrical maintenance and repairing a range of services, installations, associated plant, appliances and systems

• Undertaking electrical maintenance of services using a range of tools and techniques: this includes low voltage networks, fire alarm systems, emergency lighting systems, door entry systems, lighting, statutory compliance testing etc.

• Liaising with contractors to ensure they are carrying out work in accordance with required timescales

• Holding responsibility for reporting stock levels of consumables to enable planned and reactive maintenance to be achieved

Experience required:

• Experience carrying out electrical works

• Experience carrying out electrical works within commercial buildings

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• 18th edition

Working hours:

• 35 hours per week

• Monday – Friday, 8am-4pm
