Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Greater Manchester, who are recruiting for an Electrician on a temporary two-month contract, with the view to going permanent after. The position is due to start immediately. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable based on experience.
The candidate must have both 18th Edition and 2391 Qualifications, and ideally they will have experience working within Social Housing. Further to this the candidate must hold a full UK Driving License.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Carrying out Testing and Inspecting across a patch of Social Housing properties
Installing electrical equipment throughout kitchens, bathrooms and communal areas including lighting, fire alarms and plug sockets
Carrying out general repairs on Electrical compliances
Carrying out fault finding on Electrical compliances to ensure they are compliant
Experience required:
Experience required in Social Housing
Experience carrying out both reactive and planned Electrical maintenance
Qualifications:
2391 and 18th Edition Qualified

Monday – Thursday, 8am-4:15pm / Friday 8am-3:30pm
