​Our client, based in Bristol, is currently recruiting for a Damp and Mould Surveyor on a 6-month fixed term contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis and the salary for the role is £44,604.

The ideal candidate will have experience carrying out Damp and Mould Surveys across a patch of social housing properties and liaising with tenants regarding both ways to avoid issues and programmes of work.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

·         Carrying out thorough inspections of residential properties and communal blocks to diagnose causes of damp, mould, and condensation

·         Producing detailed technical reports to support disrepair cases, including photographic evidence, root cause analysis, and recommended remedial actions

·         Ensuring effective treatment and long-term solutions, are being enacted

·         Carrying out post inspections to ensure that specifications of work are being met

·         Providing expert advice to tenants, offering guidance on ventilation, heating, and preventative maintenance to support healthier living environments

Experience required:

·         Experience required in Social Housing

·         Experience working with customers within housing

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

·         Up to date knowledge around damp and mould legislation
