Job description

We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Cheshire, who are recruiting for a Customer Service Assistant on a temporary five Month contract. The position is due to start immediately with an hourly rate of pay that is negotiable dependant on the individuals experience.

The ideal candidate will have resolved all customer queries to an excellent standard and ensured that every customer experience is a positive one by ensuring every interaction is dealt with in a calm, professional manor.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Supporting continuous service improvements across the Customer Experience teams

  • Handling customer enquiries via phone, email, face to face, social media, live web chat etc

  • Liaising with specialist teams to ensure the best possible customer experience

  • Logging new complaints and handle complaint enquiries including first stage escalations

  • Supporting income maximisation and customer wellbeing by proactively offering relevant services and support as required

  • Achieving both individual and team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Actively contributing to the development of the Customer Hub service, including supporting service improvement action plans, benchmarking, and process reviews

  • Ensuring the provision of excellent quality customer services and building solid relationships

  • Delivering all work in line with the Trusts GDPR, H&S, Financial and People policies and procedures

Experience required:

  • Experience required in Social Housing

  • Experience working with customers within housing

Working hours:

  • 30 hours per week

  • Monday – Friday
