Our client, based in Warrington, is currently recruiting for a Community Support Worker on a 4-week temporary contract with a view to taking the candidate on permanently.

The position is due to start immediately, starting on a 30-hour contract which will extend to full time once the role is permanent. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position with the full-time permanent salary being £23,497.50.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults with mental health needs, hold an enhanced DBS taken out within the last year and also have access to their own vehicle.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Supporting service users with a range of different needs including mental health issues and learning difficulties

• Working with service users to help develop their independent living skills

• Monitoring service users for any potential safeguarding issues

• Supporting service users to access government support such as benefits

• Taking service users to appointments within the local community to ensure a high level of wellbeing

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing

• Experience working with tenants with mental health needs

Working hours:

• 30 hours per week (to be extended)

• Monday – Friday (flexible hours)
