Job description
We are currently working in partnership with a Local Council based in Hertfordshire, who are recruiting for a Commercial Property Lawyer on a temporary 3 month contract. The position is due to start in September, with the potential to go permanent. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable depending on experience
The ideal candidate will have proven experience dealing with commercial property work.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Providing legal advice and assistance to client departments within the organisation
Supporting a number of the organisation major infrastructure and community facing projects
Drafting contracts and negotiating documents for a wide range of property transactions
Investigating and advising on the implications of changing legislation and case law
Working with subsidiary local authorities on shop fronts and small industrial properties
Dealing with schools, pre-schools and more unique commercial property work
Experience required:
Experience required in Commercial Property work
Experience working in Local Government
At least three years PQE
