Job description

Our client is seeking a proficient Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role entails working collaboratively with stakeholders to devise scalable and efficient cloud solutions, primarily leveraging Azure services. The selected candidate will ensure these solutions align impeccably with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain Azure infrastructure components to guarantee high availability, security, and optimal performance.

  • Develop and oversee monitoring solutions for Azure resources, analysing performance metrics to fine-tune systems for enhanced efficiency.

  • Enforce stringent security measures and compliance standards across all cloud operations, including aspects of identity/access management, encryption, and network security.

  • Efficiently manage incident responses, troubleshoot issues, and deliver swift resolutions to cloud-related challenges, working closely with cross-functional teams as needed.

  • Enhance system availability and performance through adept implementation of load balancing, caching, and content delivery strategies.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience with Azure services, including but not limited to compute, storage, networking, and databases.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Entra ID and scripting in PowerShell.

  • Solid background in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.

  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and extensive experience in networking LAN and WAN.

  • Understanding containerisation technologies

  • Industry-recognised Microsoft Azure certification is highly desirable.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum

Working Arrangement:
