We are currently working in partnership with a City Council based in North West England, who are recruiting for an Adult Social Care Lawyer on a locum basis for 3-months initially.

The position is due to start immediately, and is offering a negotiable UMB rate, subject to PQE. Fully remote options will be considered.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Advising the Council on a range of Adult Social Care matters and mental health issues

• Handling own caseload, including care management and assessments, mental capacity, mental health, asylum, immigration and adult safeguarding

• Undertaking virtual advocacy and representing the council in the Court of Protection
