We are currently working in partnership with an established Housing Association located in South Yorkshire, who are recruiting for a Neighbourhood Manager on a permanent basis, starting in February. This role involves 3 days in the office per week on average and requires access to a vehicle.
The rate for this role is from £43,000 to £45,793 Subject to how fully the criteria is fulfilled.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Leading in the delivery of excellent services to all tenures, managing and monitoring performance of the team to create a high-performance culture and drive continuous improvement
Supporting the Head of Housing Operations in the development and implementation of process and system improvements working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation
Carrying out staff appraisals and regular one to one meetings
Ensuring a seamless response to customer enquiries working with the customer contact centre to ensure an effective handover of enquiries
Taking the lead for resident safeguarding, ensuring all safeguarding policies and processes are adhered to
Keeping informed of best practice in housing management, ASB, income collection and arrears management and ensure we follow best practice guidelines
Ensuring the team maintains regular contact with customers and deals with neighbour nuisance issues in a professional and timely manner to create and sustain safe neighbourhoods and communities
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
Experience of providing excellent housing services across all key areas of housing services including income collection, arrears management, ASB, tenancy fraud, resident liaison, and tenancy management
Experience of managing teams to deliver excellent housing management services
Thorough knowledge of current housing legislation, regulation, policy and best practice
