We are currently working in partnership with a reputable Homeless Charity based in Haringey, who are recruiting for a Lead Worker on a temporary 2-month contract.

The position is due to start immediately, with the potential to go full time. The hourly rate of pay is £24.54 via an Umbrella company or the PAYE equivalent of £20.92 including holiday.

The ideal candidate will have worked with vulnerable clients previously and have an enhanced DBS from within the last 3 years.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Providing floating support to rough sleepers in Tottenham & Haringey, focusing on encouraging clients to get support for their complex needs
• Supporting clients to get into treatment plans for recovery
• Checking in with service users daily to continue to encourage to get off the streets
• Responding to any homeless referrals being made across the borough
• Working independently and being a lead figure to other Support Workers

Working hours:

• 37.5 hours per week
• Monday – Friday (various shift patterns: 5.30am-2.30pm and 9am-5pm)
