We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Salford, who are recruiting for a Gas Engineer on a permanent basis.

The position is due to start as soon as a basic DBS is processed. The salary is £38,000, with over time pay, a van and a fuel card.

The ideal candidate will have to have the relevant Gas Safe Qualifications, domestic experience and experience working within tenanted properties.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Servicing, diagnosing and repairing Landlord owned gas appliances
• Completing certifications in line with gas safety regulations
• Reporting any faulty equipment not in line with gas safety regulations
• Ordering parts and materials and recording all daily work
• Reporting any potential repairs and safeguarding issues that you notice in the customers’ homes

Experience required:

• Experience required in Social Housing
• Experience working in tenanted properties
• Experience with servicing and breakdowns

Working hours:

• 39 Hours a week
• 08:00 – 16:30 Monday – Thursday
• 08:00 – 15:30 Friday
