Job description

​We are currently partnering with a leading Housing Association, who are recruiting for a Director of Property Services to oversee their entire Property function, comprising of Assets, Sustainability, Maintenance and Development.

Our client is a regional housing provider who are proud to provide excellent, affordable housing to those in need in the area, and are looking to get a senior member of staff on board to inform their 30-year plan.

This is a full-time position with a salary of £81,900, with an extensive benefits package.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Overseeing and taking responsibility for the Asset Management function, Maintenance and Development within a dynamic Housing Association
  • Taking responsibility for property investment decisions and ensuring the highest standards of customer service and satisfaction, delivery of maintenance and ensuring value for money
  • Regularly reviewing and developing a HA’s New Homes and Asset strategy, including the management of a 30-year business plan
  • Creating collaborative approaches to Housing and Property services alongside the Director of Housing, fostering creativity and streamline processes for development, Asset Management and Maintenance
  • Utilising existing property data to formulate a forwarding thinking property strategy
  • Developing and monitoring service budgets, ensuring value for money and identifying opportunities for extra funding

Experience required:

  • Experience required in Social Housing
  • Experience in a Senior/ Director level role
  • Strategic experience of leading and managing a team
  • Demonstrative experience in performance and people management

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • A Housing or Property related qualification (CIH, RICS, CIOB) is desirable
