Job description
Our client, based in Harlow, Essex, is currently recruiting for a Community Ranger / Dog Handler on a 3 - 6 month temporary contract.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The hourly rate is £18.05 PAYE or £21.17 via Umbrella for this position.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with dogs and dog handling, as well as enforcement / ranger experience. They must also hold a full UK Driving License as a van is provided.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Being responsible for community safety in public spaces, e.g. public parks, footpaths, communal play areas, paddling pool
Dealing with low level ASB or public nuisances
Going on patrol with a dog (German Shepard)
Helping to set up the councils paddling pool scheme
Completing administration and organise from the kennels offices
Working some weekends and shifts
Experience required:
Experience required in dog handling / working with dogs
Working in enforcement / as a ranger
