Job description

Our client, a Local Authority based in the West Midlands, is currently recruiting for a locum Commercial Property Lawyer on an initial 3-month contract.

The position is due to start immediately and the hourly rate is negotiable, subject to PQE.

The role can be conducted on a remote working basis, and previous Local Government experience will be essential for the role.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Handling a range of property law matters, including leases, licenses and sales and purchases of land, landlord and tenant matters, and disposals and acquisitions

  • Supporting development projects including drafting and completing conditional agreements for lease

  • Provided detailed advice in all areas of freehold and leasehold property law and to carry out research when necessary

Experience required:

  • Commercial Property Law

  • Relevant Professional Qualification – Solicitor, Barrister, FCILEX

Working hours:

  • 37 hours per week

  • Monday – Friday
