Job description

We are currently working in partnership with an award-winning Housing Association with over 78,000 homes, who are looking to appoint an Anti-Social Behaviour Officer on a 12-month FTC.

This will be a full-time position based in Surrey, with hybrid working (2/3 days home working) and a salary of £39,744 including a car allowance.

The ideal candidate will have experience representing their organisations in court in high level ASB cases relating to gang issues, cuckooing and domestic violence You will also require a basic DBS certificate taken out within the last three years.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing a complex caseload of complex ASB complaints

  • Pursuing legal action such as injunctions and possessions

  • Preparing court documents and representing the organisation in court

  • Attending MARAC meetings and working alongside the police

  • Taking witness statements

  • Mediating in ASB cases to help prevent escalation

  • Advising the housing team on low-level management

Experience required:

  • Experience representing organizations in court

  • Experience dealing with high level ASB cases

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Good organizational and time management skills

  • A thorough knowledge of ASB legislation

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Working hours:

  • 35 hours per week

  • Monday – Friday, 09:00 to17:00
