Our client, based in Dorset, is currently recruiting for a Window and Door Technician on a temporary contract for three months, which will move on to a permanent basis after a successful initial three months. Our client are a Social Housing provider who are looking to add to their maintenance team, and will provide a van for the suitable candidate.
The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years’ experience working on window and door repairs, and hold a Full UK Drivers’ License.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
* Maintain, service and install UPVC windows and doors in Social Housing properties
* Replace and repair garage doors and openers
* Write up and record details for window and door replacements
* Carry out general carpentry where required
* Carry out locksmith work issues in relation property entrance
* Assist in out of hours work as required
* Liaise with tenants to provide detailed updates a call
