Salary: Pro-rated £16,988 to £18,911 (Full-time equivalent £29,729 to £33,093, plus benefits including holiday and a contributory pension scheme)
Contract: Part-time, 20 hours per week, 9-month fixed term
Location: Hybrid working may be available subject to business needs
Our client is rebuilding its website to create a more modern, user-focused experience. They are looking for a Website Content Coordinator to lead the review, rewrite and creation of content across the site, working closely with the wider project team and turning research and user insight into clear, engaging copy.
Key Responsibilities
Audit existing website content and decide what to keep, revise, merge or remove
Rewrite and create content that is clear, accessible and reflects the brand and tone of voice
Work with stakeholders across the organisation to gather information and turn it into audience-friendly content
Align content with the new site structure, design and user journeys, delivering to agreed timelines
Help set up content standards, guidance and workflows to support the website after the project ends
What We're Looking For
Proven experience writing, editing and proofreading content for websites or digital channels
Experience managing content projects with multiple stakeholders
Strong copywriting skills and excellent attention to detail
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage several priorities at once
Understanding of accessibility and user-centred content design
Familiarity with a CMS; knowledge of SEO and website analytics would be advantageous
Hours: Part-time, 20 hours per week
