Our client who is the proud provider of 66,000 sustainable and affordable homes to over 140,000 tenants across the South West of England is currently recruiting for a Trades Supervisor on a 2-Month contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis and the hourly rate is negotiable based on experience for this position however the minimum rate will be £26 per hour an Umbrella Basis.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within Social Housing, hold a relevant NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and have their own vehicle with a full UK Driving License.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing a team to deliver programmed works in customers’ homes

• Overseeing trade operatives’ productivity and work quality and monitor progress by undertaking quality audits of work and materials (in progress and post)

• Procuring materials and specialist contractors and ensure actions remain within pre-agreed budgets

• Managing approved subcontractors’ performance and compliance with contractual agreements through regular assessment of quality and timescales

• Ensuring operatives are maintaining appropriate levels of vehicle stock

Experience required:

• Relevant Technical qualification – trade NVQ level 3 or equivalent working experience required

Working hours:

• Monday - Thursday 8 am - 4.30 pm

• Friday 8 am - 3.30 pm
