Job description
Our client, based in Greater Manchester, is currently recruiting for a Support Worker on a permanent contract.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. Salary for this role is £27,825 per annum.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable adults, hold an enhanced DBS on the update service and also have access to their own vehicle.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
Working with women who are facing homelessness
To assess the needs of all clients and, in conjunction with them, devise a support plan to address and identify needs
To complete risk assessments, incorporating safety planning, and review on a regular basis
To ensure initial triage contact with each client is undertaken within 48 hours of receiving a referral, and the initial assessment is complete within 5 days
To be responsible and accountable for the efficient recording, storing and maintaining of client records, including contact notes, correspondence, Support plans, risk management plans and outcomes achieved
To actively and sensitively engage clients and promote client involvement via a range of methods
Experience required:
Experience required in Social Housing
Experience working with service users at risk of homelessness
Working hours:
36 hours per week
Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
