​​Our client, based in Greater Manchester, is currently recruiting for a Technical Officer on a permanent contract. Our client has regularly been listed as one of the best Housing Associations to work for in the country!

The position is due to start as soon as possible, based on notice, on a full time basis, offering a salary up to £38,000 and the opportunity for progression.

The ideal candidate will have experience of surveyor work in the Housing sector and will be looking to grow their career into more managerial roles.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

·         Completing various types of domestic surveys, including the likes of stock condition and damp surveys

·         Undertaking pre and post work inspections

·         Creating schedules of works for contractors

·         Monitoring the work of trades and property inspectors

·         Liaising with tenants within their own homes regarding works required

Experience and skills required:

·         A car and full UK license

·         Experience completing surveys within the Housing sector

·         CIOB or HNC is a bonus

·         Staff management would be desirable also
