Job description

 

We are currently working in partnership with a charity based in South East London, who are recruiting for a Talent Acquisition Specialist on a temp to perm contract. The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The hourly rate of pay is negotiable and the salary on the permanent side is £30,000 -£35,000 per annum.

 

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience across the full recruitment lifecycle.

 

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing the recruitment mailbox and Smartsheets, replying to any other queries and ensuring recruiting managers have access to applicants’ information

  • Advising managers with recruitment needs; including assisting with planning recruitment campaigns, following the recruitment processes and procedures, best practice, answering any queries and resolving issues during the recruitment process

  • Advertising roles and identifying advertising routes, considering candidate attraction methods to support attraction of a wide talent pool

  • Ensuring all applicants are tracked and monitored during the recruitment process and that all updates and notifications are sent to all candidates as appropriate in a timely and effective manner

  • Establishing and maintaining a good relationship with all candidates and new employees to ensure all information is provided and to ensure a positive candidate experience

  • Schedule interviews for shortlisted candidates, ensuring all aspects of the process runs smoothly, this includes sending confirmations and supporting on the day if required

 

Experience required:

  • Able to build rapport with key stakeholders across the organisation

  • Able to prioritise work effectively and meet deadlines

 

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Up to date knowledge of employment law

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Working hours:

  • 35 hours per week

  • Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm
