Our client, based in West London, is currently recruiting for a Surveyor on a 6-month temporary contract.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The daily rate is £350 - £400 via an Umbrella Company.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Building Surveyor or Maintenance Surveyor, hold a DBS or be happy to get one taken out and have a full UK driving license. With the ideal candidate holding a HNC/HND qualification.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Inspect properties, assess defects and provide appropriate technical solutions

• Investigate disrepair cases and provide technical reports and support to legal teams

• Provide technical advice and liaise with internal teams, contractors and consultants

• Support planned maintenance programmes, including inspections, surveys and assessing future works

• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of communication, compliance and record keeping

Experience required:

• Experience in building maintenance or building surveying

• Commercial awareness and experience obtaining value for money

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• HNC/HND qualification

• RICS membership is advantageous
